Grand Hotel Timeo
In 1906 it housed the Grand Hotel Timeo Guillermo II of Hohenzollern, Duke of Prussia and the Emperor of Germany, and in his honour the most prestigious suite in the hotel is dedicated to him. It is located in a park approximately 20.000 metres squared. In the interior the famours literaria terrace can be found and it is a meeting point for many great personalities. From this garden you can see the tremendous Mount Etna volcano, the sea and the greek theatre. 5 function rooms with a capacity to cater for upto 250 people, all situated inside the Olimpo Congress centre, which can be found in a seperate building from the old Gran Hotel Timeo with direct access that´s independent from that of the hotel to guarantee an optimum service making them ideal for wedding banquets. The Congress Centre, like the inside of the hotel has dedicated points with WIFI internet connections and delivers excellent service for meetings, events, gala dinners and shows. All the rooms are furnished to a high quality standard and also have gorgeous terraces or balconies. The suites, almost all of which have large terraces and elegant designs, resemble the magnificant designs from the Sicilian Baroque period.
