• 1_La Rábida and Columbus Sites: Huelva is a mecca for those interested in Christopher Columbus, with a number of significant tourist attractions about the famous explorer. Monasteries, churches and convents have artefacts related to the Columbus Expedition.
• 2_El Rocío: Place of Marían worship and centre of Pilgrimage. A small village with sandy roads where horses and Flamenco are the attractions.
• 3_Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche: An essential stop on a tour is Peña Arias Montano, Aracena, where nature has created the fantastic monumental world of “Las Grutas de las Maravillas”. The gastronomy of the area is of the highest quality, with the universally renowned cured hams of Jabugo.
• 4_Beaches: The Atlantic Coast of Huelva, steeped in history and legend, stretches out in wide beaches of white sands backed by green pinewoods. Good examples are: La Costa de la Luz : Ayamonte, Isla Cristina, La Antilla, El Rompido, El Portil, Punta Umbría, Mazagón and Matalascañas.
• 5_Mines of Río Tinto: To visit the Río Tinto Minning Park, wich is the first of its kind and one of the principal cultural tourist parks in Spain, the English Quarter of Bellavista, built at 19th Century, the Roman Necrópolis La Dehesa, dating to th 2nd Century BC and the Tourist Railway which runs from the old mines of Talleres to Los Frailes.

Group activities

• 1_Caravels Dock: Situated in the locality of Palos de la Frontera, in the so-called Columbian area next to the old Rabida Monastery. This collection of historic buildings is currently Huelva’s main tourist attraction. Located by a large lake, replicas of the three boats that took Columbus on his discovery journey to America are moored - the Pinta, the Niña and the Santa María.
• 2_Golf: An outdoor sport like golf also has many excellent facilities at its disposal in Huelva. Along the coastal area there are the golf courses of Isla Canela, Islantilla, El Rompido, Nuevo Portil, Bellavista and Matalascañas. In the interior, at the Río Tinto Mines there is the Corta Atalaya historic country club, where Golf was played for the first time in Spain at the end of the last century.
• 3_Doñana National Park: Doñana National Park has a total area of 50,720 hectares, is the largest protected park in Spain and is one of the most important National Parks in Europe. The park shelters an exceptional amount of fauna within its boundaries. Its beaches and shifting sand dunes spread 20 km along the coast and also reach 6 km inland.
