• 1_Rioja-Alavesa: The best wine caves in Spain are in this region: villages like: La Guardia, La Bastida, San Vicente de la Sonsierra, Cenicero.
• 2_Romanesque tour: Throughout the 13th century many temples were built upon the Álava plain. The most characteristic shrines are those of Estíbaliz and Armentia, both with a floor in the shape of a Latin cross and semicircular apses.
• 3_Valderejo Natural Park: From Vitoria you take the A2622 road heading towards Nanclares de la Oca, Palbes and Espejo. Once you reach the entrance of the Park at Lalastra you must leave your vehicle and continue on foot.
• 4_Road to Santiago: Álava lies on a road that has been a pilgrim’s route for more than 400 years: the Road to Santiago.
• 5_The valleys of Álava: This region beholds three beautiful surprises for the visitor in the form of shrines: Nuestra Sra. de la Corzanilla in Berantevilla, La Virgen de Angosto in Villañane and Nuestra Sra. de Escolumbe in Catadiano.
• 6_Garaio: A recently created natural space that lies on the banks of the Ullibarri Gamboa artificial lake. It stretches over some 118 hectares of land and contains fine vegetation, abundant meadows and artificial beaches.

• 1_Golf: The Lagran and Urturi golf courses were very ambitious projects, as they were created in the heart of the Alavan mountainside. The Lagran 9-hole course a par 27 is situated 36 km from Vitoria.
• 2_Free fall: In álava there are schools where you can take up this attractive sporting discipline. Plunging into the open air in a free fall knowing that modern sports equipment will enable us to ride the winds and hover above low ground, is an incentive that some people cannot resist.
• 3_Hunting and fishing: Álava has a lot to offer for hunting and fishing enthusiasts. The hunting season is from August to February. The fishing season from April to June.
