CONFERENCE CENTRE
If you are looking for a location for a conference, dinner or product presentation that will keep your guests talking about it for years to come, then you have found the right place in St. Olof´s Chapel. Its historical value provides a special ambience, while the technical facilities ensure that your event will go smoothly. The building dates back to 1440, which makes it one of the oldest buildings in Amsterdam. In the 19th century, the St. Olof´s Chapel fell into disrepair and lost its religious character. A raging fire in 1966 seemed to signal the end, but NH Barbizon Palace showed interest. The hotel was looking for more conference space, and from this came the plan arose to restore St. Olof´s Chapel to its original state, but with all the added conveniences and comfort of the 20th century.
GENERAL FACILITIES
The Conference Centre is an integral part of the NH Barbizon Palace Hotel. An underground passage connects the two locations. The Business Centre is available for your guests, and is equipped with PC, fax, photocopier, Internet and 10 external telephone lines. The Concierge Team and the Guest Relations Manager will be happy to help you with airline ticket reservations, car rentals and information about the city in order to ensure that your stay is as efficient and pleasant as possible. Due to the 24-hour security, your guests will always feel safe.
CONFERENCE FACILITIES
The NH Barbizon Palace Conference Centre can be used for extremely diverse purposes, such as receptions for up to 500 people, parties for up to 300 people, gala dinners for up to 200 guests, buffet dinners for up to 240 people, seminars for up to 300 people, events, etc. The lower floor with its foyer and small conference room offers many possibilities. For instance, during a conference, you can hold product presentations in the foyer and have an informal meeting on the balcony. Personal service receives high priority at the NH Barbizon Palace. You have one contact person during preparation and during the event. For smaller meetings, there are also 11 meeting rooms, including the exclusive Boardroom and Henry Hudson Rooms, which offer modern, comfortable accommodations for groups of between 10 and 200 people.
