NH Doelen 

Resting upon the banks of the river Amstel this 17th-century hotel with canal view and a private boat landing, all in the heart of Amsterdam’s historical city center. NH Doelen is the oldest hotel of Amsterdam and has hosted - and continues to host - a variety of famous and artisitic guests including Queen Victoria, The Beatles and the Empress Sissi who has a room named after her. Rembrandt painted the world famous 'Night Watch' on the third floor of the hotel. There are canal view rooms and you can enjoy breakfast whilst overlooking the Amstel River.

NH Doelen is well situated for those wishing to explore Amsterdam's city center. Located between Rembrandt Square and Dam Square. The flower market is just a short walk from the hotel also as a variety of theaters and museums, including the Rembrandt House, the Rijksmuseum and the Jewish Historical museums, as well as many restaurants, cafes and the Red Light District. The hotel is also close to public transportation links and a shuttle service to the airport runs throughout the day.
