Day trip

• 1_Leiden: You can reach Leiden within 20 minutes and visit its museums, make a boat trip through the canals or visit the Old Church. There are group tours to do a survival course or you can visit a golf course in the area.
• 2_Amsterdam: By public transport it takes one hour to reach Amsterdam. Besides the main museums (Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art, van Gogh Museum and Anne Frank House) there are many options to explore the city on your own. A 1 hour canal cruise is the number one attraction to get a good overview of Amsterdam. Other options are by foot, with a map or with a guided tour, by bike or by excursion bus. Don’t miss the smallest house, the 7 bridges, the royal palace and the red light district!
• 3_The Hague: This government city is half an hour away by car. It has a very special beach resort-Schevingen. Just 15 minutes further on from The Hague is Delft. This very old city has a pretty central square and is famous for its Delft Blue ceramics.
• 4_Bulb fields: Either by car or by bike there are various routes through the bulb fields, which can be done in half a day or a day. The routes are between the city of Haarlem and the city of Leiden. These trips can be combined with a visit to Keukenhof flower garden, Panorama Land, Tulip World or just a visit to one of the pretty villages en-route, for example Lisse, Noordwijkerhout, Voorhout, Sassenheim or Hillegom.
