Santiago Bernabéu Stadium Tours and Museum

The Santiago Bernabéu Stadium is one of the most prestigious stadiums in Europe and the home ground of Real Madrid football club. Many world-class teams have competed on its hallowed turf.

First built in 1947, the stadium, set in the Chamartín district nowadays, is named after legendary former player and team president Santiago Bernabeu, and is one of the most famous football stadiums in the world. It is one of the only stadium in Europe that has hosted a UEFA Champions League Final in 2010, and part of the Copa Libertadores Finals in 2018.

Over the decades, the stadium has hosted many events besides football. It has been the venue for iconic performances from huge musical acts, including U2, Bruce Springsteen, and the Rolling Stones. Taylor Swift herself performed there as part of her Eras Tour.

Moreover, American football made its debut at the Santiago Bernabéu in November 2025 with a game between the Miami Dolphins and the Washington Commanders, marking a significant moment as the stadium hosted this sport for the very first time.

The New Santiago Bernabéu Stadium

The new Santiago Bernabéu Stadium features a futuristic, wrap-around, smooth design with many more seats for differently abled people, a new seating stand, and a retractable roof so that games and events can be held in all weather. These improvements mean that the stadium can host all kinds of new events.

The new stadium also features a 2000 square-meter atrium directly in front of the main entrance to the building. The atrium will be formed with a large overhanging cornice extending over the square in front of the stadium with no supports on the ground, allowing for the most space possible.
