Roller coasters and themed areas
Copenhagen's Tivoli amusement park is home to several thrilling attractions, making it a popular destination for adventure lovers. If you visit, don't miss its old wooden roller coaster, known as Rutschebanen, which was built in 1914. This roller coaster reaches a speed of 49.8 km/h and has a height of 11.89 meters.
Another popular attraction is the Dæmonen or The Demon, a modern looping roller coaster created in 2004, which offers thrills at speeds of up to 77.2 km/h (48 mph). But in addition, for those who prefer not to get their pulses racing, Tivoli Gardens also has a variety of family rides, such as the Flying Trunk, a whimsical attraction that takes visitors on a journey through Danish fairy tales.
However, this park is also divided into different themed zones, each of which offers its own unique atmosphere, such as the Arabian Garden, where you can see buildings inspired by Middle Eastern design, while the Chinese Garden houses a beautiful pagoda and various Asian-inspired attractions.
