There are many buses traveling to and from our neighborhood. At the bus stop directly in front of the main train station, you can catch bus number 3 or 5, disembarking at the Paseo de la Victoria stop. Cross the street to the "puerta de Almodovar". Continue straight for 100 meters and you will see the hotel. Taxis also stop in front of both the bus and train stations.

See mapWe received a nice welcome at the reception. Rooms are clean, comfortable and correct size. The breakfast was EXCELLENT! You are catered for if you are vegetarian, gluten/lactose intolerant, or love traditional Spanish breakfast. Hotel is well located for sight seeing. I would return without any hesitation.
We stayed two nights in July, and enjoyed our visit. The property is on the fringe of the old town - easy to access all the sites, but also easy to park and to get in and out of. While not luxurious, the room was spacious and clean, and had great air conditioning. The breakfast was tasty and a bargain for a hotel at 10Euro a person. If I'm back in Cordoba, I would not hesitate to say here again
For work reasons we usually stay in the NH Hespería over the river but they were full so we tried out the Califa and were pleasantly surprised. Housekeeping was excellent and the breakfast area is light and airy and offers the additional possibility of eating out on an attractive enclosed patio. I congratulated the breakfast room supervisor on the presentation and quality of the meal. Parking facilities are good. Only downside was the intermittent wi fi. Our room was right at the end of the corridor on the second floor and it was just too far from the router or extender. I spoke to the receptionist but she professed to know nothing about wi fi. At check in ask for a room with a strong wi fi signal.
