Transports

From the airport

Train: Take the S8 from the Munich Airport, which departs every 20 minutes, to get to the station "Ostbahnhof". From there switch the trains and take the S3 until the "Unterhaching" station. The hotel is located in a walking distance from about 2 minutes to reach the hotel.
Taxi: It is a 40 minutes trip, depending on traffic and cost around 80€.

From the train station

From the main Munich train station you can take the S3 train in the direction of Holzkirchen and get off at the Unterhaching stop.
From Unterhaching: From there turn left into the "Hauptstraße". Afterwards please turn right for the "Leipziger Straße". The hotel is located on the left.
Closest metro station: Unterhaching (S3)

Excellent property

One of the nicest properties I’ve stayed in, in terms of facilities, access to public transportation (5 min walk to S-Bahn) and shopping (2 min walk to a grocery store and a pharmacy). The neighbourhood is very quiet and peaceful. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff made everything that much more pleasant.

GOOD EXPERIENCE

The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet. Employees very helpful. It is near the S-Bahn very convenient to reach Munich centre in 20 minutes. I did not have lunch, but breakfast was very good. We were lucky that the weather was good.

Always an uplifting experience

I have stayed in the NH Hotel Unterhaching on several occasions in the last 7 years. The rooms are very spacious and in excellent condition. The bed is large and comfortable, and the location is quiet. Thinking about it, the lobby (which incorporates the open-plan breakfast area), is also quiet, even in the Oktoberfest period when I was staying on this occasion. Breakfast is a very easy experience, with a large variety of options. Being located a 5min walk from the S-Bahn is also a plus for me. The staff are calm and have a warm, professional manner. I would say it is definitely my favourite hotel in the South-Munich area. I will be back! (I give 4 stars for value..... everything is expensive during the Oktoberfest period of course!)
