Ibiza doesn’t just have clubs, it has superclubs. Here’s a guide to just a few of the very best clubs in Ibiza.
Crowned the world’s best club on multiple occasions, Hï Ibiza, previously the legendary Space, opened in 2017 and is clubbing heaven. This multi-room venue and ‘360 nightlife experience’ is located on the stunning Playa d’en Bossa and spaces feature the spectacular Main Room, for the main event, the Theatre, for back-to-basics club lovers, and the Secret Garden, a stunning outdoor space perfect for chilling out. At this venue, even the bathrooms are known to have DJ sets! Get there before 1:30 AM to avoid queues; jump in a taxi, walk along the beach or take a bus.
Since 2011, The legendary Ushuaïa Ibiza , the daytime open-air club and musical wonderland in Playa d’en Bossa, has been drawing clubbers from across the world with its mega poolside parties and superstar DJs and is one of the best clubs in ibiza. Make sure to get there by 5 PM for peak sets and get ready for huge crowds, a hi-energy vibe and epic production. Take a taxi there, get a bus or stroll along the beach.
The legendary temple to clubbing, Amnesia Ibiza, first opened its doors in 1976 and has been delighting clubbers ever since. Named the world’s best club on many occasions, the venue is a pinnacle of nightlife in Ibiza and home to iconic events like Pyramid and elrow. The Main Room is renowned for hard-core, bass-heavy nights, while The Terrace vibrates with house beats. Get there around 2 AM for legendary DJs, and a euphoric, party crowd.
Other Notable Clubs on the island include venues like Es Paradis in San Antoni, one of Ibiza’s oldest clubs. Famed for its beautiful Roman-themed décor and Fiesta Del Agua water parties, clubbers are guaranteed a happy-house experience that’s magical, fun and truly uplifting.
Octan Ibiza in Playa d’en Bossa is a minimalist venue for serious music lovers, boasting multiple rooms and an underground vibe. The Lab has low ceilings, loud techno and a gritty feel, or you can head to the roof-top terrace to party beneath the stars. Things tend to heat up here after 1AM.
When it comes to nightlife in Ibiza, Pacha needs little introduction. This historic Ibiza venue has been a clubber’s delight since it opened in 1967, attracts the world’s best DJs and serves incredible cocktails! Ibiza San Antonio’s iconic Eden Ibiza has been hosting superstar DJs and drawing the crowds since its inception in1999. DC10 started out in the 90s as a modest bar with space for just 80 revellers but quickly became a veritable Ibiza institution. Housed in a converted aeroplane hangar near the airport, this is the club to go for raw techno beats and underground electronic music. The daytime parties, like Circoloco, are legendary – get there by 6pm.
For the ultimate daytime clubbing experience, it has to be the San Antonio hotspot O Beach Club. This is THE venue for pool parties and themed events with a vibe that encapsulates Ibiza at its coolest and most fun. Get there by 2pm. The venue is walkable from San Antonio, or about 25 minutes in a taxi from the airport.
Ibiza Rocks is a hybrid hotel-open air venue in San Antonio with incredible daytime pool parties and live music. Easy to get to on foot or by taxi or bus.
Clubbers in the know tend to arrive at their venues between midnight and 1.30am to beat the nightclub queues, while daytime timetables vary. A good tip is to book ahead to avoid paying full price on the door.
Taxis are abundant in Ibiza, but might be harder to get late at night, so also worth booking in advance. It’s worth remembering that there are also usually buses serving the larger towns on the island, especially in peak season.
The summer season kicks off in late June, when things start to heat up and DJs start arriving and lasts until September. July and August are ultra-peak season, when beaches and clubs are packed.
It’s worth remembering that many venues will refuse entry if you’re still in beachwear, so check the dress code before heading out.

This is a tough one, but many party-goers would probably say it was Elrow at Amnesia, which is not just a DJ set, but a themed, completely immersive experience, comprising acrobats, theatre, a whole lot of glitter and confetti, characters, props...and of course, incredible music.
Competition is stiff, but it probably comes down to DC10, with a Funktion-One system that’s ideal for techno and house, and Hï Ibiza, with its cutting-edge L-Acoustics system. Ibiza takes its acoustics ultra seriously, so you’re guaranteed superior sounds just about wherever you go.
There are so many incredible pool parties to try, but perhaps the most legendary are at Ushuaïa Ibiza, in Playa d’en Bossa. The Ibiza Rocks Hotel has a more laid-back vibe at its daytime revels, without sacrificing any of the atmosphere. O Beach Ibiza throws incredible themed parties with great live entertainment and Pacha, though more famous as a nightclub, also does a great daytime party.
Ibiza doesn’t really come cheap, but there are ways to stretch your budget. Cafe Del Mar has DJ sets on the beach, and though the drinks are pricey, you can still enjoy the vibe and the sunset for free! Bora Bora Beach on Playa d’en Bossa sometimes has free entry and Pacha in Talamanca also does less pricey daytime events.
The Italian techno duo Tale of Us host Afterlife at Hï Ibiza every Thursday night – visual installations, curated artists, state of the art sounds and immersive experiences.
You certainly can! Pacha host popular silent events, as do Ibiza Rocks and Ocean Beach Ibiza, for a more intimate clubbing experience.
The dress code at the best clubs in Ibiza is of course, simply fabulous. Ibiza spearheads and rocks some of the planet’s coolest looks, from Boho to techno and everything in between. Clubs may have more stringent dress codes, so best not to turn up in swimwear, however tempting. Check individual websites to avoid disappointment on the door.
It’s a fairly straightforward process for most places. To lock in the best prices, it’s a good idea to plan ahead, check out the websites and book early, though you can usually pay on the door if the night takes a spontaneous turn. Ticket platforms and social media can also be good places to purchase tickets, though most clubs recommend going to them directly.
During peak months, every day is party day in Ibiza, with events throughout the week, both day and night. However, Saturday night still reigns supreme.
The vibe in Ibiza is incredibly inclusive, and members of the LGBTQ community should hopefully feel at home at any of the club nights. Some clubs like Pacha and Amnesia do hold designated LGBTQ club nights, and everyone is welcome there too!
